I went from Montpellier to Nîmes just to visit the city. After I walked through the centre-ville, just looking at the old places of the city, I decided to try Mésopota'Nîmes. You will get real authentic Lebanese experience, definitely. I ordered a shish tawouk plate with a hoummous b'la7me entree, with a Lebanese grape-based beverage called "arak". By far, this is the best hoummous I have eaten near all the cities around Montpellier. The shish tawouk was splendid and the "arak" got the right balance for the meal. Good food quality, good atmosphere, very nice people. They accept debit cards (carte bancaire). Not so many places accept that, so that's a plus. I have been trying to find a lebanese restaurant in nîmes and was lucky enough to find this spot. The food was great the waiter was an awesome guy.

I learnt that french people don't eat as much food as we do where I came from so the portions are significantly smaller But I still felt full after. So I rate the serving size 10/10 The prices are fair for the amount of food and taste. I rate the Pricing 10/10

In one word: excellent! The decoration may be outdated but, seriously, who cares? The food is so delicious and the service so professional that you very quickly forget all about the decoration.
