We just drove into Nimes without a plan other than to see the arena. We happened to walk past this office and decided to go in. I'm very glad we did! The greeting was very friendly, we got lots of useful information - including a suggestion to ride the tram that takes you around town. Which gave us a great sense of the place and what else we wanted to see. We ended up spending most of the day in Nimes. Thanks for your kindness!
The city itself . . . captivating. We loved the simple, elegant Christmas decorations. Much different than the garish way we do it in NYC. The Arena is simple awe-inspiring. And what a credit to the city for keeping it in use!

We travelled to Uzés, Avignon, Arles and from Remoulins and every bus has a contactless reader where you pay each time €2 for each journey. The trees diffuse the harsh light and makes sure your body maintains a comfortable temperature. The architecture surrounding the park is quintessentially French and the building are clean and well maintained.
