Unfortunately, it’s very difficult to find lunch in France. Almost all establishments are closed until 5:00 PM or even 8:00 PM. That’s how we ended up in this place. We were the only two guests there. Staying was our mistake — but hunger got the better of us.
We actually like Vietnamese cuisine, but what we saw in the room (you can’t even call it a bistro!), the way the food was served, and the lack of hygiene were simply shocking!
After waiting 40 minutes for our order, we were served two identical soups instead of a different dish, and the starter was missing half of what it was supposed to include. But the lady charges in advance, and then pretends she simply didn’t understand us.
The tables are so wobbly that I was lucky not to burn myself when soup spilled from the bowl onto the table and my clothes.
A complete nightmare of a place!
I really hope the health department inspects places like this from time to time.
