All the food tasted so amazing! We had the menu of the day, a pollock dish and a steak. Starter was chicken wrap with curry mayo which tasted refreshing and tantalising. The steak was excellent! It was buttery and the right doneness. Never had I tasted such a good steak! The fish was extremely fresh, and paired so well with the crispy slightly burnt rice, and very well seasoned with some sweetness sourness and savoury. Vegetables were cooked to the correct texture. Kudos to such a beautiful creation! Chocolate mousse has that homemade creamy and smooth texture, such a delight. All the dishes were executed meticulously, paying every detail to the tastes of the sauces and presentation. Well done!!! 👏

We were presented French and English menus. In terms of food selection, there was a lunch menu available which some of us took while others went for the ala carte. Food was well presented and tasty (See photos). For starter, there was a dish with foie gras, bone marrow and rillette. For the main, we had grilled salmon and beef steak. Dessert was interesting as this was the first time I had beetroot ice cream.

Je regrette quand même la quantité qui ne reflète pas les portions plus que gargantuesque des vrais bouchons lyonnais. Le ris de veau n'apporte rien à ce plat qui aurait été délicieusement en simplicité sans lui. Nous avons pris la planche apéritive et celle de fromage...sans plus, il manque la fleur de sel sur la tartine de moelle et le foie gras, les fromages indiqués des frères marchands manquent d'affinage. Mitigée donc, vraiment contente de trouver des pieds de porc, rares aux cartes des restaurants mais le reste est un peu trop simple et classique. A noter un cadre agréable et un service vraiment sympa.

J'ai apprécié le service de la jeune serveuse : professionnelle, souriante, dynamique et visiblement passionnée par son métier car très à son aise !

La carte est variée, ce qui permet une belle découverte des spécialités lyonnaises.

Le saucisson briochée de Lyon était bon

Les - :

La planche charcuterie/fromage à 20€ pour deux était un peu décevante :

4 petites tranches de deux charcuteries différentes 2 fines tranches de jambon Fromage au basilic.

Certes, les produits étaient bons, mais à ce tarif-là, je m'attendais à quelque chose de plus généreux et travaillé.

La bavette Angus au poivre était ordinaire. Cuisson trop poussée et absence de grains de poivre, goût de poivre trop peu prononcé. Un manque finition, d'autant plus dommage que la viande semblait de bonne qualité.

La salle est très bruyante (mauvaise insonorisation) et l'attente était un peu trop longue.

135€ à trois personnes… Pour cette addition, on espérait une meilleure expérience globale. Dommage, il ne manquait pas...
