Bonbourg — Restaurant in Nantes

I can see why this place is so popular! In the past week I have visited Bonbourg twice, both times being a brilliant experience. We visited as a party of 6 and were greeted with friendly faces who were accommodating and happy to help throughout the visit. The burger was delicious and cooked perfectly and the fish was clearly fresh and very flavourful. We tried a number of starters, mains and desserts which were all amazing. The quality of the food and the portion sizes were great for the price and I’d happily recommend! We came here for my birthday celebration. The entrée and dessert were delicious, but my main course experience was a bit of a horror. I ordered octopus and it was too salty, even after more than a week I could still remember the weird taste. Like very very uncomfortable to eat, I couldn't even eat a half of my plate so it wasn't a good birthday experience. The price wasn't worth the taste. A fantastic find! We went as a family of 5 and were greeted kindly. It was consistently outstanding throughout . The service was fast, and staff were more than welcoming - a hand full of our party struggle to speak French and we were given an English version of the menu. The food was bursting with different flavours and the portion sizes were very generous . Will be returning very soon...
