Lovely place, clean and friendly. Not sure about the service, though (the waitress). Either I caught her on a bad day or she's just rude. Took her ages to serve my drink, serving others before me even though I'd ordered first. I'm not familiar with French rules, but apparently I had exceeded my drinks limit (2 pints and 2 vodkas!). Rather than inform me of the rules/the law, when I asked for a gin & tonic she said that they were closing and that they didn't have any gin and tonic. Found it strange that such a lovely place situated in the heart of Nantes would close that early. So, being nosey, I went to the toilet and asked to pay my bill and asked why they were closing so early. The boss was lovely and friendly and explained the drink limit rule, which I totally respect as he's looking after his business. Don't tell me you're closing and that you don't sell G&T, though, just show your customer some respect.
