Catherine Breakfast Club — Restaurant in Nice

Similar experience to the earlier review from today(Monday), male waiter was not friendly, told us sit wherever when we asked about a table , then didn't bother coming back to us, we sat waiting for at least 15 mins for a menu, at a dirty table and just as we were about to leave a female staff member cleaned the table and gave us menus, also to note it wasn't overly busy. We then waiting for longer than we should to order and at this point the original male waiter came down asked had we ordered, I said no and he said to hurry up as the breakfast time closes soon . Food was nice at best but the service from that one particular person was horrible, he really should not be in this business. I heard him interacting with others and he was consistently rude, he also seemed to be having an argument with a female staff member. Would have zero interest...

Really beautiful little restaurant. Loved the cozy seating and tasteful decor & the plating is also really nice. Service is fantastic, I really appreciated how the server was explaining things on the menu including the health benefits of matcha! I enjoyed my sandwich- I got the grilled cheese and enjoyed the chilis and avocado with the small salad. It was a dish that felt high quality and was tasty. My partner got the croissant sandwich- he said individually the elements tasted wonderful and fresh but put together they didn’t work, he didn’t like it since it had mint/sweet elements. We visited this beautiful place on a rainy day in nice, the draw to us was that how beautiful and inviting it looked,

We were met by very friendly staff who explained the menu's and all about the place which was nice to hear,

We ordered some drinks whilst we waited for the food service to begin at 6pm, the coffee was delicious and the ice chai was great!

We then ordered the Catherine's fried chicken, fried polenta and beef cheek croquettes, the food was fantastic for sharing and all tasted wonderful, the homemade ketchup served with the chicken was very tasty too!
