Panineria Ceresola — Restaurant in Nice

Pictures felt very misleading! When you go through the pictures of the paninis on Google, you're expecting to get this grandiose sandwich that is well filled, and that couldn't be further from the truth. We got the Giuseppe Panini, and I kid you not, there was one slice of everything on there. Literally a single slice of meat, a single piece of lettuce, maybe two tomatoes. It was ridiculous. Mind you, I also asked for the lettuce so imagine it would have been even less in there.

This was not just us either, we were looking around and everyone else had the same situation. The sad part is that the flavors were very good, just felt so stingy. For 9 Euros, it's a rip off.

I don't want this to reflect poorly on our servers. They were very friendly, had a nice chat with them too. I'm sure they are just following policy when it comes to how they build this disappointment...

Exceptional, well balanced panini assembled to order with outstanding ingredients and the greatest care and pride. A tiny gem with a big heart on a quiet street just off Place Garibaldi.

Love the Italian Estathé iced tea, too.

Google classifies this as a fast food restaurant, which I suppose is fair for a sandwich shop. But the Panineris Ceresola removed from the realm...
