Went to this restaurant to try the socca (which was pretty good, would recommend trying). Was apparently misheard when ordering and had an extra €11 added when we paid and they gave us barbajuans as well. When we told them that this is not what we ordered, they were obstructive and tried to make us eat it anyway. Then when we asked for a refund as we didn’t want it they told us it was impossible to do (either card or cash). Not even that they couldn’t give one to us, but that they didn’t have the ability to do a refund which is frankly absurd.
They said this even though the server admitted she had misheard us and made a mistake. I’m sure by the looks of their review responses that we’ll get insulted for not checking the exact prices as we ordered, however, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to not have to pay for food you...

During my Internship in Nice for 3 months, I feel like, I have already tried just about every restaurant or takeaway offering Socca in Nice. Honestly, their Socca is incredible. Unlike others, I have tried, they manage to bake it super crispy on the outside and not at all firm nor soggy or uncooked on the inside. Besides Socca, they also offer all kinds of regional specialties. I haven’t tried all of them yet, but so far they also were delicious. In addition the owners are very kind and open-hearted and the restaurant is beautifully designed.

Read moreWe went here after friends had spoken about it, then I saw a review on youtube. We turned up expecting a queue, but we were early enough. Got the selection of specialities as that's what we like and every single thing was excellent. It was obviously all made with care that day. We ordered a few beers, and ended up eating loads, then ordering socca, along with some chickpea based beer which was the perfect accompaniment and all reasonably priced. Can't wait to go back, but this time for the desserts which we'd eaten too...
