Doma pizza — Restaurant in Nice

A quick Google search led me to this little pizza spot just around the corner from where I was staying. The ratings were very high. Do I get my hopes up? Do I reserve my excitement until I can judge for myself? My mind was racing. The moment I stepped in the door I was greeted with a smile, a warm bonjour, and the tantalizing aromas of freshly baked pizza. The decision for which pizza to try was more difficult than any other I've faced before; however, I decided upon the Tangéroise. Mon dieux...the spice of the kafta, the tang of the pine nuts and feta, the refreshment of the mint leaf, the umami of the mushrooms, the sweetness of the carmelized onions, the sauce, the crust! I have never enjoyed a pizza so much in my entire life. It was an absolute delight to the nose, tongue, and belly. 100/10 recommend. These guys are artists and their creations are...

This was one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The crust was soft and fluffy but also crispy from the wood oven. I had the Alpine and my wife the Jardinière and both had more toppings than your usual pizza but it wasn’t at all too much. Each had a balance between the sweetness of the sauce and the fattiness of the cheese with sweet toppings like apples or caramelized onions or more acidic pickled onions while texture was brought in from some crushed almonds or pistachios. The staff there is also really nice and super fast. We must’ve waited ten minutes at most for the pizza to arrive after we ordered. And the atmosphere is totally relaxed like any corner side pizza shop but the thought that goes into the menu puts the quality way beyond what you would expect just looking...

I ordered online to take the pizza I bought in the restaurant. It was an amazing pizza, I didn't eat it on the spot but took a look at it before because I was too curious, it looked insanely good and the taste was even better than I expected. So it definitely is a 10/10 for the food ! For the service it also is a 10, friendly staff, you can see them preparing the pizzas so it's really nice. They gave me tips to make sure that even at home I could eat my pizza the best way possible by telling how to heat it up again if it got too cold. The only sad part is how tiny the insides are, it is sad because you can't come and eat there with a big group of people (as there is only 4 chairs with 2 tables, 3 chairs at the bar) and because they deserve so much more space for how good...
