One of the most enjoyable restaurant visits I've ever had! We stumbled upon this place by chance and arrived shortly before closing time, but were still welcomed with open arms! The owner is a truly warm and helpful person and is not only very communicative but also genuinely interested in the well-being of his guests. The food was incredibly delicious and impressed both vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike! I have been a vegetarian for many years and have never eaten seitan as delicious as the one in this Feijoada, and all the components of the starter platter were also incredibly tasty! The cozy and inviting atmosphere in the restaurant, the soothing Brazilian music in the background, and the owner's good mood are extremely contagious, making guests feel truly at home! I can really recommend this restaurant to everyone, whether you are familiar with Brazilian cuisine or not and whether you are vegetarian, vegan, or not, and will definitely be back on my next...
Read moreWe had such a wonderful experience at Vêjé Viver Bem in Nice! My husband, our baby, and I went for lunch — we’re not vegetarians, but we absolutely loved the food.
The chef Jefte, who is also the owner, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and you can really feel the love and care that goes into everything — from the service to the flavors on the plate.
We ordered the feijoada, and it was absolutely delicious — rich, comforting, and full of flavor. We also tried the salgadinhos like coxinha and kibe, and they were divine — crispy on the outside, flavorful on the inside, and just perfect!
We highly recommend this place, even if you’re not vegetarian like us. It’s an amazing way to discover how delicious and satisfying vegetarian Brazilian...
Read moreVegtarian and vegan food. Open evening Friday and lunch-dinner on Saturday. I made it over on a Saturday, late lunch time. Had the casava fries added a bit of salt, this pepper sauce/chili oil, and what I think was molho campanha. DELECTABLE. Love cassava/yucca. So I might be bias. First time having Brazilian food, so of course I had the feijoada. I really really enjoyed it. Tender seitan, saucy, beautifully seasoned. All the elements complimented each other wonderfully. There was a Brazilian non vegetarian/vegan couple there as well that looked to really be enjoying their meal. Also heard them discussing with another customer to make a gluten free dish using heart of palm instead of seitan. So highly suggest for anyone wanting a good, homey...
