Eat SUSHI — Restaurant in Nice

First things first, we were a group of 7 and one of my friends who is allergic to sushi couldn’t eat here wanted to order from another place. We had to go outside eat at another place and come back for the rest 6 of us. But this is nothing. The waiter brought the chopsticks touching them with his bare hands… sanitary ??? Then he placed them on some dog which was missing the tail… dont be creative with these ideas if you cant maintain them. I have a dog and I wouldnt like to see it without a tail. Moving on to the food, its like we ordered rice, he brought it and spoke to us in french even though none of us speaks french!!? The sushi wasnt good, definitely not worth more than a star with the overall experience we had. Maybe treat your customers better, they’re more important than your ego. As with sushishop i found this place to be very uneven in both quality of product and service. Sometimes excellent other times...well not so much. Have had them screwing up orders a few times (and this have been done online so nobody can blame the language barrier here) other timeS they didnt deliver at all without any kind of notifications! Called them up once wondering why it took so long and was told they didnt do deliveries that day due to bad weather (but once again, not a word said about it when i placed the order, recieved confirmation as ususal) another time it just didnt arrive at all for no reason.. not great when you re at work waiting for your lunch for hours

Id say they are ok most of the time and i keep on getting back to them but only because i havent found any good...

Food was underwhelming. Yakitori platter was okay, but the meats and salmon lacked flavor. Gyoza was mediocre. Shrimp Tempura was good. Ramen was okay. The Box Creation Sushi was the least enjoyable, with odd sushi creations (ie. crispy pork sushi), not tasty, and the sushi rolls were not displayed beautifully like how it is pictured on the menu. Tried the Deep Fried Sushi Roll and that one wasn’t any better.

When paying at the cash register, I wanted to tip the server and she turns to her male colleague and starts talking French about it, and they are both laughing—the guy then comes over to look at the register. I had no idea what they are saying but they made me feel uncomfortable.
