An absolute hidden gem! This small brasserie offers full comfort, hearty friendliness, great service and, of course, top quality food! We were nicely accommodated on the second floor, where you are attractively welcomed by a cozy atmosphere. The staff was extremely amiable and helpful - since the food menu was only in French, they kindly explained the meals with great detail, and even offered us alternatives for undesired ingredients. When our lunch arrived, we were pleasantly surprised not only by the beautifully arranged plates, but by the quality and taste as well! Personally, I was extremely impressed by the ‘Tartine de Marinette’ - a big slice of bread, with crunchy crust yet very soft middle, presented in a rich combination of philadelphia, veggies and parmesan. The burger and steak were okay, nothing extraordinary, but when it comes to the dessert - a delicate, homemade tiramisu was a perfect ending to our lunch! The texture was soft and smooth, and very delicious! What fascinated us the most, was the way of serving some of the desserts - they do that right in front of you, right from the big tray to the personal portion! Moreover, the beverages were appetizing and very refreshing, ideal for a hot day! Of course, we were not deprived of complementary bread, although we didn’t quite need it for our meals. Last but not least, on our way out we took a glimpse of the delightful interior, which creates a remarkable homey and comfy environment. There is also a coffee counter and an aesthetic visual display of sweet and savory French pastry. All in all, a must-go for a lovely breakfast or lunch, especially if you are a...

Super poor experience! What a downgrade from last year. When we went back then it seemed as though the management was different? This tall dark-haired man and a couple of greek looking guys were looking after us at the table and man was that service top notch back then! Now, some bummed out, upset, angry and frustrated people have taken over and the service quality has completely plummeted.
The way we were greeted was horrible, no hello, no smiles simply "what do you want" (french).. barely anyone spoke English (which these days... Be so serious - your entire economy runs on tourism and the best you can do is "yes/no"??)
The prices almost doubled from last year and the selection is smaller and quite boring! We saw the Instagram story with the strawberry cookie and thought we might try it - the waiter was so unhelpful, his reaction was "well do you want it or no".
Very disappointing experience and sadly we'll never return and put money in this business, better places nearby to eat at which we'll choose in the future. Too bad the place had great potential but with such subpar service, who even needs them!

Amazing spot to have lunch/brunch, and early dinner too! Fresh lemonade and delicious food served in rustic plates. Loved it, totally recommend! 😁 I'll be back here when I...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE IF YOU’RE BRITISH! We arrived and sat upstairs and were completely ignored for 10 minutes so we went downstairs to try and order the pastries there. We were then told we could only order them from upstairs. When someone finally took our order, we were told the upstairs section was only for people ordering full meals - I suppose we were meant to be psychics. The people on the table next to us were equally confused by this. So we had to move outside and order our drinks again (they had been totally forgotten about) and were served by a middle-aged blonde man who was one of the rudest waiters I’ve ever encountered in my life. He looked at us with pure disgust (I suppose since we weren’t ordering full meals, we were ordering cakes and coffee in a coffee shop - imagine!) Or maybe it was because we were all young women and had English accents, which he made fun of, even though we spoke in perfect French. When I tried to pay at the till, he quite literally shooed me away with his hand. I couldn’t believe it. We were made to feel belittled and completely disrespected. Avoid...
