Fantastic brunch!! My husband and I came here after visiting the musee massena. There was a bit of a line when we arrived but it moved somewhat quickly. There was some confusion and there were other guests that just walked in and were seated immediately before us, despite the obvious line. If it wasn’t a chilly day, we probably wouldn’t have cared but having to wait in the cold for 10-15 minutes while others were seated immediately was a bit of a bummer if I’m being honest. Once we sat down, service was very fast! Our waitress was knowledgeable and helped us understand the menu in English, which we really appreciated! The food and drinks came out quickly and the portions were more than we were expecting. I couldn’t even finish all my eggs! The pancakes were especially good. I ordered the garden brunch and there were two different kinds of avocado toast, both tasted fantastic with the eggs. It also came with a small yogurt parfait, which tasted like some sort of apricot purée and Greek yogurt, which we loved! The coffee was basic but tasted good. Overall, a very well balanced brunch with a little bit of everything! Definitely recommend this...
Read moreThis Café was recommended by a friend, sadly i was a bit disappointed after my visit. The food is good, i guess we just had bad luck. First we had to wait a little to get in, which wasn't too bad but you should know that it might take a while. I ordered French Toast and water, my friend ordered "healthy breakfast", orange juice and Green tea. His drinks came quite fast but they forgot my water so i had to ask for it after a while. My friends drinks were good. When the food came i was confused, because they forgot the banana on the French Toast. This is weird, because they have banana on every French Toast. When i asked for it, they changed it, so it was alright. Tho it wasn't a lot of banana. But the French Toast is very delicious and i would recommend it. The "healthy breakfast" wasn't so good, especially for that price. The egg wasn't salted and very soft. The bread was delicious but there were only two tiny pieces (for avocado, egg and jam - not enough at all). The quality is quite good tho. But considering the price the visit was not...
Read moreI truly do not understand why this is a five star brunch in Nice. There are many more much better. First things first the food is not even mediocre, the worsts it lacks flavor. It lacks taste and textures too. I ate croissant with avocado and salmon, no herbs, spices, nothing… the lettuce that is served with the croissant is not even washed properly. It still has a smell and taste of a plastic bag so of course it doesn’t have any balsamic oil or olive oil or any spices or dressings whatsoever, not even salt and peper. Everything looks much better than it tastes. The hygiene is not the best. They are not whipping tables between customers and menus are dirty and sticky. This wouldn’t even be that bad if i hadn’t seen a RAT in the “garden” next to the place you sit. I understand that Nice is generally not the cleanest city in the world, but if you know you have problems WITH RATS you dont let people sit NEXT TO THEM… I don’t even want to think that they might be inside as well. Do i even have to say its too expensive?!?!! And also the...
