High Club — Restaurant in Nice

I don’t normally write reviews, but this experience was so shockingly bad that I feel obligated to warn others.

From the second we walked up to the entrance, the security guards were beyond rude — aggressive, power-tripping, and clearly profiling people. They acted like they were guarding a presidential bunker, not a dingy, half-empty club with a broken smoke machine and sticky floors. They gave my group (all Americans) a hard time for no reason, singling us out while letting others in with no questions asked. It felt like we were being treated like outsiders in our own country.

The situation got truly disgusting when one of the staff members openly used a racial slur toward my Chinese friend. Yes, a racial slur. We were shocked and called them out immediately — only to be brushed off by management like it was no big deal. No apology, no action, nothing. Just a smirk and a shrug.

The food? If you can even call it that — overpriced, undercooked, and clearly just microwaved junk passed off as “bar bites.” One of us actually got sick afterward, and honestly, I’m not surprised.

The bartenders were slow, rude, and acted like they were doing us a favor by serving drinks that tasted like dirty tap water mixed with regret. When we asked politely for a refund after the incident with the staff, we were met with more hostility and were eventually escorted out for “causing a scene.”

This place is toxic. Unprofessional, discriminatory, and genuinely unsafe — both physically and emotionally. Save your time, money, and dignity. Go...

Visited with friends on a holiday on a Friday night. Good atmosphere, good music however we were met with disdain when we found out the shots cost €10 each! Back home they would be around 3-7€ depending on drink of choice. Being students, we were not prepared for these extortionate prices and it interfered with our plans to party!! Apart from that we had a good time. Saturday night we decided to visit again. We prinked heavily to avoid having to buy the expensive drinks. When we got inside, every man in sight seemed to be a creep. Completely ruined the atmosphere and my ability to have fun when every ten seconds a man is trying to touch me/ tell me how I’m “beautiful”. Although this behaviour is expected in a club, it was on a level I’d never seen before. Security did not mind people smoking on the dancefloor (which is illegal) and even the designated smoking area was an indoors room. No place to get air unless we actually leave the club. Men in the VIP area were throwing empty drink bottles into the main dancefloor and spilling their drinks on people. A very predatory vibe all over from a lot of the older men. Our experience was ruined by a bartender. Upon ordering drinks at the bar, she said they don’t take credit cards, cash only. Then she proceeded to say we couldn’t get a table because they don’t do bottle service. We spent over $500 on drinks when we could have just purchased a bottle after another bartender showed us the menu but the racist bartender made up her own rules. We finally saw some other customers paying with a card machine so I went up to the bar to ask why some people can pay with card. The second bartender/her coworker confirmed to us that the reason the first bartender said those things were because she assumed that the men in our group were American scammers due to the color of their skin and did not want to serve us. First of all we’re not American but regardless or where we’re from, the way she treated us was unacceptable. If you see this girl at the bar, avoid her at ALL COSTS!!
