Hôtel Amour Beach — Restaurant in Nice

We are staying at an Airbnb across the street from this place, my wife read reviews some people had bad experiences here but we came anyway it's close. First the girls at the front were nice we told them I can't be in the sun so we need shade, my wife on the other hand loves the sun. So they gave us a server that was very accommodating to me with umbrella positioning with the sun moving. His name is Benjamin and he recommended great wine choice and not expensive ones. Both white and rose were wonderful. Also he speaks perfectly English as well as French obviously. Over our time here we talked to Benjamin and I explained to him I have a medical condition to not be in the sun because I had him move the umbrella several times. He was fantastic about it. The food is good but small portions, we have been to several countries we understand prices and you pay for service on the beach because some people don't tip. Long review but we enjoyed our day here and plan to come back later this week. The most terrible experience I had in Nice! My family was visiting and I reserved beach beds for them for the whole week, paid immediately to guarantee that they didn’t have to worry with nothing… but I was wrong! It starts with even if paid, they cannot arrive to the beach when they want, they need to be there before 11:45, otherwise the beds are resold?!? Even if paid!!! Secondly, even with plenty of rows closer to sea available, we were placed at the back (although price is the same for other rows except front row), and to finish they mistreated my family, when they arrived without me (not speaking French) and even though they gave the tickets for the beds, they insisted there was no reservation, they were impolite and after I talked on the phone and they realized that they made a mistake, the only thing they said to my family was, keep calm! Not even an apology! They are incompetent, but even more they treat people not how they should be treated but for who they look like they are! Don’t judge a book for its cover, that’s all I have to say to Hotel Amour staff and management! Strongly recommend to stay away...

A very nice beach club, relaxing, well-maintained, and welcoming! We had a lovely time at this beach club during our visit in mid-May 2025. It was calm and not overly crowded – we even found a spot without a reservation, though I’d definitely recommend booking ahead.

The atmosphere is laid-back yet elegant, with clean facilities and a charming little library where you can borrow a book for your stay! While the front row of loungers is understandably reserved for hotel guests, the second row is actually preferable, as people tend to lay towels in front of the first row anyway.

Beach chairs are reasonably priced at €25, with towels available as an optional extra for €5. Lunch options range from €15–30 per person (excluding drinks), offering good value for the quality.
