DO NOT GO THERE! RUDE ! UNPROFESSIONAL! ARROGANT PEOPLE! JUST A MOCKERY! Came for a coffee after busy day just to relax and catch my breath, nobody greeted at the front entry so if there is no sign to wait to be seated, then you sit wherever you want, plus there is noone greeting you anyway and there wasnt many people at all, so I sat at the spot where I liked, put down all bags, got my scarf an coat off and sat relaxing desperate for my coffee. People behind the bar knew that I dont speak french as I was checking with them something about the food when I just came, but still sent me french speaking boy that after realising that I dont speak french started yelling all over the place something like "call somebody who knows english"....very professional.....then I am all sitting chilling there and there is this huge black coloured guy rushes to me without any greeting or any manners and politeness straight forward goes "are you to eat or just a coffee?" I said for a coffee. - then you sit must sit there! This is only for the food - I replied that why nobody told me that BEFORE I came and sat here making myself comfortable ?! No much people were there anyway and the only difference between the "food" and "coffee" table was that one had servings and cutlery and some decor on those and other didnt......REALLY?! And all this fuss just about that?! That guy then walked away and I am still waiting for my coffee and water and then he comes back and tells me that again that I need to move explaining this thing about food and coffee tables as if I am retarded. I told him that I already heard that thing, but you didnt hear me saying that I already made myself comfortable here and as I mentioned before -"WHY NOBODY TOLD ME THAT PRIOR I CAME AND SAT HERE?!" and if it is that much of an issue for them, then let somebody meet the guests at the main entry as it usually happens IN NORMAL PLACES, but here nobody met me nor I have been advised about it prior choosing the table and once again if it is so much of an issue at least instead of creating an argument over nothing really and make me feel intimidated and nervous about it all as I really wanted just to relax and have a coffee, he could tell me that in NICE AND POLITE manner and AT LEAST offer me to move my bags and coat as it should be in customer service! Instead all this mockery and fuss over nothing! Obviously I left right away and ended up having great coffee around the corner! BTW while I was next to the bar when I just came there, whoever was ordering some desert looking like lemon tart or something looking like that around 2-3pm on 5.02.19 be aware that some decoration of some sort of dried crape tube fell down a bit and they touched it by hands to put it back.....in restaurant business it is simply unacceptable and unhygienic! Not only I am disgusted by their customer service, but also would question their cleanliness and health...

We went to this dinner place because we were staying close to this restaurant; every day we went to the beach and saw this restaurant, the food and plating looked very attractive and delicious when we passed by. We were excited to try it for ourselves. We were greeted and sat in a nice area where we could see the people in front of us plus a view of the street. The server stopped by to take our drink orders and then our food. After that we waited more than 45 minutes to get our first course, escargot. We had to ask for bread, when clearly every other table was given a basket of bread to start. The waitress forgot to bring a small seafood fork to eat the escargot. We received no service after getting the escargot to ask for the fork. We waited another half hour without any response or any staff checking in on us when clearly every other table around us was receiving great service. At least 4 other tables that were seated after us and ordered after us all received their food. We asked our server how much longer our food would take, he said it should be coming out soon. Another 15 minutes went by, our server stopped by our table to say it would be 7 more minutes. His explanation was they were busy, but we had a simple order, a salad, burger and 2 pasta dishes, nothing that should take more than half an hour maximum. We completely lost our appetite by then. The manager showed us the ticket that printed at 8:20PM and it was 9:40PM already. The server apologized but his manager did absolutely nothing to resolve this. Even though we don’t speak french, from his body language and facial expressions he was very rude and discourteous. His attitude and the way he handled it was very unprofessional. We are an easy going bunch and not hard to please but this experience was...

A very disappointing experience. At the beginning, the person who appeared to be the restaurant manager (a short, overweight man in a white shirt) was blocking the entrance and extremely rude—no smile, no greeting, and he roughly pulled out chairs to seat us, acting very hurried. After a while, one of the dishes we ordered was said to be unavailable. He didn’t even look at us, just coldly handed over the menu, muttered a quiet “sorry,” and quickly turned away, showing no respect whatsoever.

The treatment of guests was clearly inconsistent: European-looking guests received warm and friendly service, while we (Asian tourists) were treated coldly and dismissively, which felt discriminatory. One female staff member was also very unprofessional. There was a small table next to my seat with condiments roughly at head height; when she picked up the condiments, she almost touched my face. During checkout, her movements were still rough. When I asked why there were Chinese characters on our bill that we couldn’t understand, she looked displeased, said she didn’t understand English, and offered no opportunity for explanation or communication.

In contrast, another tall waiter in a white shirt and a waiter in a black shirt provided very good service, which only highlighted the discriminatory behavior of the manager.

The food was mediocre, but the staff’s attitude completely ruined the overall experience. Absolutely not recommended. The restaurant has surveillance cameras, so everything I described can be verified.
