KhaeSarap — Restaurant in Nice

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch today, April 2, 2025, at Khaesarap, a delightful Filipino restaurant in Nice. The moment we stepped in, we were met with a warm, friendly vibe that instantly made us feel welcome. Don’t be discouraged from visiting due to the roadwork happening along the street where the restaurant is located—it’s well worth the trip!

We ordered a few Filipino classics, and each dish was a treat. The lumpiang Shanghai was incredibly crispy, with a perfectly seasoned filling that made it hard to stop at just one. The pork sinigang was a standout —its tangy, savory broth paired with tender pork and some veggies was amazing. Then came the pork sisig, sizzling hot and topped with an egg; it was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. We rounded out the meal with fried rice, which tied everything together perfectly, soaking up all those great flavors.

The staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place. Despite the construction outside, Khaesarap offers an authentic taste of the Philippines with generous portions. If you’re in Nice, don’t let a little roadwork deter you—this gem is a must-try! 100% worth it, for price and food are delicious, you will not regret it , it's feel like you we're actually in Philippines, because the taste of the food , the owner are very kind and the people serving as well , in this restaurant, you felt home , happiness, respect , so please everyone try and visit this restaurant, it's very worth it and very tasty food you will not regret it , ❤️🙏❤️ we order desert , it's actually good my husband and kids love it soo much , I don't even have one of it because they can't stop eating it , lechon kawali are very crispy and delicious , we order adobo , pancit guisado , kare kare , dinakdakan , barbeque, and shanghai , everything it's delicious nothing to say , not because i only have Filipino taste , but even my husband his french nationality , he even like it so much even my kids , they are very welcoming and the owner , she's so very nice , blessed you all , please support this...

Khaesarap Fil Restaurant - Oct 30 2022. We were greeted with a warm welcome upon arriving at the restaurant. The Lechon Kawali was done gracefully and the Beef Pares + Kinilaw were good. BBQ was so-so , definitely wont be on my plate next time. Taste in general was not blunt nor bad but the Shanghai Rolls were rather dry and desserts were just a huge NO NO! Everything went okay until we tried their desserts, so avoid getting the Leche Flan and Turon. There were people came in and out with just Pjamas and one taking onions from the restaurant's kitchen which I found it quite unusual. The owner is the only one taking orders and bringing hot plates to customers so expect long waits. °°°°They have others in their Menu that I would like to try next time to give it another go thinking maybe because it is new ,they haven't figured things out yet completely so I might drop by for a take out and will update...
