Cute place that seemed calming. I just got take out but can see it would have been a good spot to kick back. The food was decent. The rice was underdone but that could be because I was there pretty much at the opening. The chicken was good and the sauce tasted like just soy sauce and oil. It was great that it had a good amount of vegetables. Seems like they have changed the format to shredded chicken vs pieces like some of the reviews. The fried turnip/radish cakes were very tasty. I’ve never had them prepared like that before. The siu mai dumplings wasn’t quite like what I’m used to at dim sum. The ginger was good but the meat tasted kind of underdone/raw. I had their pork sandwich and it was simply delicious. I loved that the fresh lettuce gave me the crunch I love while the pork was so smooth that I bit through it with ease. I got a vanilla Macchiato to pair with it and I would definitely recommend getting that with any of their food items.
I heard that they made their boba balls from scratch, so I ordered the floan bubble tea, which I pudding with the tapioca balls, and you can taste the difference. When I come back I will definitely order...

You can really tell it's a labor of love by the owners and sense the craftsmanship & authentic Taiwan influence that goes into each artisanal dish and drink. The drinks were perfect - my black sesame latte was rich and creamy and adjusted to be not too sweet, per my request - and the dishes were so intricate and flavorful, the meat cooked to tender perfection and the flavors infused deliciously.
