My family and I (we are Asians) had a horrible encounter (possibly racial profiling) with an older male waiter with glasses on 10/11. We arrived at 6:20pm and asked politely if we can be seated. The waiter told us to wait OUTSIDE until 6:30pm and we did what he said. While we are waiting outside, we noticed that the same waiter let some white customer who came right after us sat down in the restaurant. We also saw that there are tables of people (who are also white) sitting in the restaurant drinking coke. I asked the waiter why my family and I are being treated differently, he did not have a good answer for it. I did not receive any form of apologies from this waiter either. We hope this is not an ethnic profiling kind of experience, however the restaurant never had a good explanation for it.
Reply to the owners response: It’s peoples freedom to leave a google review. If your employee treats customers disrespectfully, be prepared to have some one-star reviews.
Calling me “disrespectful”, instead of apologizing for what we have experienced is an honest reflection of the quality of service your restaurant provides. I would recommend you have some open discussions with your employees regarding how to treat customers equally with respect, instead of writing a response calling a customer being...

Came here with my partner and her parents on 12-November at 18:20. We were greeted by a somewhat older gentleman wearing glasses. I explained in French that we were a party of 4. He responded that they did not open until 18:30, and gestured for us to leave. However, there was already a party of 3 men sitting in sight drinking cola, and shortly after we stepped outside, a woman entered after us and was seated.
We were confused about other people being seated while we were not, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. We returned to ask the waiter why we were asked to stand outside - he did not provide an answer. Not sure if it was because we were Asian, or because of some other reason he did...
Read moreUpdate: 2nd night there, tried different dishes. Tomato mozzarella entree was good (particularly the tomatoes), the prawn salad was pretty good too but the greens were not exciting (just spinach), the pork chop was way over cooked (dry and tough) although the mashed potato was excellent, and the chocolate mouse camel was not as creative and complexed as the dessert we had the night before.
Suggested by our Air BnB host and it didn’t disappoint. One of the best/refined/creative meals we had in a week in the Côte d’Azur. We had an octopus tapa, a crab/avocado tartlet, a baked cheese and a pistachio cake with berries/passion fruit sorbet/concentrate, all were delightful, so was the service, very happy...
