La Vieille Maison — Restaurant in Nice

The food is good 👍 but the waitress needs to learn how to be more nice and kind with customers I want to be honest and say thank-you for the chef inside the kitchen, but outside services need to be improved. Next day I came again to drink coffee and eat something an old man who works nearby of this restutant came and said a racist remark( now we see them every day they become loyal to this resturant) i was alone and he was looking at me,he was unfriendly he said that I front of the guy who works there who did nothing. Ok.. this is difficult as the service is very good and friendly. The place has good location opposite of Gare d Eze, nice sea view from the roof terrace, cozy ambiance.

The sandwiches are really big and a good value for money, but the seafood was completely over cooked, had a thick coating and very salty. Not to mention the price which is far more expensive than anywhere else except fine dining places for the same dish. We arrived at the place at 14.34 while other guests were either having lunch or waiting for their meals to be served. We asked for the menu and were shortly informed “kitchen is closed”.
