Le Piccadilly — Restaurant in Nice

We noticed this place had good reviews, and followed up on those. Once we arrived, there was no host desk, and it looked like a mix between a bar and a restaurant, quite confusing. After a couple minutes, we got a table. The tables are very intimate, there are maybe a couple centimetres inbetween each table (if you’re lucky).

The drinks were a little on the expensive side, the beer was quite good. The food however… the milanese we ordered was horribly fried. The panko or whatever they were using did not stick ti the veal, and the veal was extremely tasteless, tough and sad. The fries we got i’m sure was frozen, as they also were tasteless. When we comented on the food, we got a «someone always complains», which i am sure happens, as they do not at all...

Fantastic spot, can tell why the locals go here - the pizza is some of the best I’ve ever had, drinks & food are VERY reasonably priced for the area and delicious, the service is fantastic! What a lovely traditional restaurant just set back from the front. The food and drinks were first class and very, very reasonably priced for this area. The place was very busy on a Monday night and full of local people which can only be a good sign. Our waiter was very helpful with my obviously limited French.
