Update 2024:

Came back to Roquebrun after enjoying it so much last summer. And this restaurant was also part of the decision to come back, because the food, the staff, the setting. It's really a place we wanted to come back to. So we pre-booked dinner for all three nights we've stayed here.

And it was still as great as last time. Since we had our Bulldog with, we reserved a table inside, it's more quiet for our dog. But of course the terrace outside is nice, great seaviews. But also the inside of the restaurant is very charming. A nice, light style, really has a bit of Carribean feel to it.

Staff was great all three night. Took care of us very well. We really felt welcome here.

The food was amazing. Specifically the Charolais Tartare is a real treat. Still the best Tartare I've ever had. It's just amazing meat. But also the other dishes were wonderful. We had the Corsican charcuterie platter with nice cold meat cuts and tasty cheese. The Tuna Tartare with Kimchi was a good starter as well. The Saint-Jacques Carpaccio with truffles is another item you shouldn't miss. For the mains the Tuna Tataki was a real suprise and nicely done. If you feel like some meat, the Angus Bavette de Boeuf is a good choice as well as Souris d'Agneau confit (lamb) with oriental spices. There's really something for everybody on the menu. Some items stay the same (like the Tartare), some change seasonally.

All in all three wonderful dinners. And when we're back in 2026 in Roquebrun, we will definitely have our dinners here again.

Review from 2023

Came here twice during our three-night stay in town. Did some research and chose this restaurant based on location and good feedback. We didn't have a reservation the first night, but still got a table right away. Our Bulldog was welcome as well and even got a bowl of water right away. The restaurant is very nicely set. Lots of tables outside and also inside. Lots of natural light, feels very caribbean somehow. A nice place to be. Staff was really attentive, friendly and helpful. Great staff all around. The menu has lots of interesting items. I would call it modern-french with a fusion twist. Presentation and food quality a really outstanding. Had the Oyster Fizz and Ceviche de Loup for starters. Both great choices. Nice fresh twist on the oysters. For the mains we had the Tartelette au Crabe and the Tartare de bœuf Classique (Charolais). The tartelette was quite good, but the pastry was a bit too sweet. The Tartare was amazing. I've had lots of Tartare in my life. I love it. And this one here is the very very best Tartare I've ever had! And that's saying something. The choice to use the nice and tender Charolais beef was brillant. It's just divine.

The second time we had the Carpaccio de Saint-Jacques with truffles and the Corsican charcuterie plate. Both wonderful choices. Lots of truffles on the carpaccio. Tasty! And both the corsican cheese and the meat were fantastic. For the main we both had Tartare again. And it was as amazing as the first time around.

A great restaurant. Nice location, awesome staff. And outstanding food! We will definitely be back another year to get some more. There are still lots of interesting items on the menu to try. Highly...

Two ex-collegues living in the region recommended me this new restaurant. Indeed, they were fully right, it was simply amazing. You have beautiful posh seating inside and a nice terrace also, both with good sea view. You get classy table service, with fresh bread and damned good olive oil at your disposal, friendly and efficient waiters also. I took the steak tartare, you can choose traditional or italian, it was a decent big portion, very well. The best things to eat are the Asian styled small plates, I had the grilled calamari plate and the crevettes with beetroot hummus something .... both extraordinary good small plates. Most fantastic thing to know is that they also serve cocktails, for which this place managed to get one of the rare female bartenders at the Buddha Bar Monaco before .... Fantastic meal experience at a very reasonable price. Counting...

Madame Blue is not just a restaurant – it’s a place where hospitality is taken to the next level. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The service was absolutely outstanding: attentive, charming, and perfectly balanced between professional and personal. Every need was anticipated, and every request was met with genuine care.

Our server was not only knowledgeable and efficient, but clearly passionate about what they do. They took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations, accommodate dietary needs, and even engage in lovely conversation – all while maintaining impeccable professionalism.

The atmosphere was elegant, the food exquisite – but what truly made the evening special was the extraordinary service. A huge compliment to the...

The place to be... and eat!
