RISTORANTE MASSIMO — Restaurant in Nice

JUST GO! We were away on our honeymoon in the South of France and this was our best dining experience by a mile. Massimo himself is a great character and very funny and accomodating. His staff in particular George were amazing to us also. And not to forget the food, wow. Maybe the best seafood linguine I've ever eaten everything was so fresh, authentic and delicious. The little fried dough balls they bring before the meal were perfect. It was so good we went twice and every time we would walk past they would all say hello it felt like a family. Crowded, busy, lively, but with great food and typical owner and host! We are regular visitor since a few years, and keep coming back. There is a regular menu, which is reasonably priced. Then there is a list of specials, where some of them are really special. Not only great pizzas but also the secondis are great. One of our children’s favourite is the pizza Nutella, that wasn’t on the menu last time any more, but still...

Family restaurant (at least that's how I got the impression). The dishes are decent. The staff are nice (much more customer oriented than many other restaurants in France). I've also had experiences where the waiters refused to explain certain details about a certain dish because they were "busy" (and here I'm referring to a "select" restaurant).
