Le TONO — Restaurant in Nice

We visited this restaurant and loved the experience. Even though the restaurant was fully booked they managed to squeeze us in. The service was fantastic, quick, friendly and we got great recommendations about the wine. The food was well cooked and seemed very authentic (at least to us who are tourists). Also very good value for the food and wine we got, two appetizers, two main courses and 4 glasses of wine for 65 €.

I had the paleron de bœuf and the Mango Tiramisu. The beef was tender and tasty but also included a fair bit of grisle. Not a problem for me because I simply avoided it. The portion is generously nestled in a creamed truffle potato, which is the real star of the show. Simply divine! The carrots could be left off. Whatever you do, dont miss the Mango Tiramisu!...

Great place full of locals with extensive list of wine and varied specials. Friendly staff and great value. Offers indoor and outdoor seeting was bussy with locals all the time, so take some time and relax as service was nice but not instant. Cheeas board with salad and baguete (17€) was exelent, dry white local region wine also...
