Went there with 2 kids today, one of whom has asthma. We sat down and there was a man at the table behind us chain-smoking. I asked him nicely to stop and explained it isn’t nice to have smoke over children and food. He swore at me and stomped off; then the owner came back with him and informed me that “this guy is his friend and very good client and he can smoke in that area because it’s a smoking area.” I said, “ok great. Can you move us to a non-smoking area please” he said “everywhere is smoking area”!!! Then the guy smirked at me, lit up his cigarette and smoked again and again while he and the server laughed at me and mocked me in French not knowing I understand French. Disgusting behavior. Read moreFirst off, it is hard to find. For other travelers- this is located in the Chabad building complex. There is a gate through which you enter. Once inside we asked to be seated. They accommodated us but it seemed that a reservation would have usually been made. This was August so it’s the height of travel season. The pizza here is famous and it did not disappoint. Thin crust, excellent toppings. Crust was softer than we typically have in the US. We also ordered the salad plate which was delicious. Pizza places in the US do not typically offer wine and beer with the food and that was a nice experience too. Seating is outdoors. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and inclusive. So great to see so many stripes...

The vegetables on the pizzas are raw and their chips are a bit soggy. It isn't necessarily bad and I think they do care at the restaurant, but the food was at best mediocre and the atmosphere was a but uncomfortable, the tables and chairs being plastic outside and not the cleanest. But it's decent as a little place at the Chabad for the local Jewish community. Not recommended though if you're on holiday from somewhere else. Just isn't what you'd think it is from it's reviews...
