I was completely disappointed with my experience in Tigermilk; I wish I had picked a different restaurant for my first dinner in Nice. I decided on this restaurant because of the glowing reviews on Google Maps. Unfortunately, it did no live up to the expectations at all and the food was simply bland.

Pros: The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a very cool vibe. The drinks menu is interesting and drink prices are reasonable for Nice. For these two reasons, and only these two reasons, I am giving it two stars.

Cons: Before leaving the hotel, I checked whether I needed to make a reservation. There were plenty of available spots online for all sizes of parties, so I decided to go straight to the restaurant. When I got there, the restaurant was half-empty. Despite that, I was informed that I could only have dinner in the bar area because I was by myself. I asked more than once whether I could sit in one of the real tables (not the super tall and uncomfortable bar tables) and I was informed that they were waiting for parties of two and could not offer me one of those. When I left the restaurant, there were still plenty of tables available and I was never invited to relocate to one of those. This set the tone for the night, which was unfortunate.

Regarding the food, I ordered the carnitas tacos and the “tigermilk” ceviche. I am from Latin America, and could barley recognize the flavors. The tacos were dry and lacking flavor. The ceviche had so much coconut milk in it that the acidity was gone. Not even the pomegranates and mango’s could save it.

All in all, I was disappointed and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. I wish I had spent more time reading the negative reviews before attempting...

If I could give this place a 0 out of 10 I would. Buckle up this is a long review. Firstly, our waiter forgot table water and other basic items you would need. Secondly, they forgot a main course for over an hour. When we brought this forgotten dish up to them we were brushed off and dismissed. Bare in mind we asked about four times wondering when or if it was coming to no avail. Thirdly they announced they had brought the dish. Which was a special and tried to rip us off and gave us a similar starter instead. They knew they had done this intentionally as there was no apology or means of rectifying the mistake. Finally, when I brought up the mistake to the manager he was rude and condescending. He accused us of claiming they were trying to scam us ??. I don’t know if he understood the term or was just incapable of comprehending how rude he was. If I could give anyone in nice, on holidays or is a student like us some advice, it would be to avoid this place unless you like getting treated horribly and enjoy dealing with staff who have no interest in work clearly. However if trying to figure out an issue with a man child manager is your ideal activity please come here as soon...

Me and my girlfriend went here this evening. The interior was intriguing and nice. However the night took a turn once our mains arrived, my gf ordered the chicken burger with potatoes and I had the asado carne with potatoes. The potatoes were TOTALLY COLD! Of course it was annoying but things like this happen regularly in restaurants, so we ask to have the food hot and so they proceeded to take the food back to the kitchen just to come out cold again, then we ASKED AGAIN to have our food heated up, they brought back a fresh non re heated plate of food, we were both thinking yes this is gonna be so good now. However to our surprise it was cold. The food took 30 minutes after the second time to come back cold like the original portion. I don’t know who to blame the chefs in the kitchen for lightly cooking or the staff who just watch the food cool down to below 5 degrees then bring it to the customer. I honestly don’t ever write any reviews but this one couldn’t be missed. I left no tip but I will leave this as a tip try cooking food hot or warm as the bare minimum. Do not recommend unfortunately even with the...

The place is so nice! It immediately leads you to a mexican-ish atmosphere super warm and welcoming. They have a variety of dishes that really make it difficult to decide what to eat, and this modernised take on the cultural food is great! But expectations were so high that when the food arrived it would have been better to just stare at it: actually the entrée were delicious, that’s for sure, but the rest was a bit too insipid. Another thing that was funny: we chose a wine from 2021, we were served a bottle from 2022 (no complaints obviously), but we told the waitress so, just so she knew, and she literally answered “so what?” I was left speechless 😂 I repeat: it was not my intention to complain, just so they could fix the menu cause the bottle was quite expensive but still the answer was super funny Since that, she started acting in this super fake, super extra kind and condescending way that I found a bit irritating but still, da girl had a temper and I appreciated it a lot!

We ordered ceviche with tacos and a yuzu limonada. Overall? Quite basic. The tacos were fine, the yuzu limonada refreshing — but the ceviche… that’s where things got weird. I’ve had my fair share of ceviche — I lived in Arizona, where Mexican food isn’t just food, it’s culture. So I was excited to try this one. But when it came out, I noticed something unexpected: coconut milk. On ceviche. I know fusion can be fun, but this was straight-up confusing. I gave it a try anyway (because hey, why not?) — and yeah, it tasted just as strange as it sounds. The coconut threw off the whole flavor profile for me. It was more like a tropical soup than the bright, acidic ceviche I know and love. That said, it is a Latin American restaurant, so the dish could be inspired by other regional styles — maybe Caribbean or Colombian ceviche, where coconut milk is more common. It’s probably a familiar flavor to others, just not to me. Points for originality, but it was a miss for me.
