Le Rajisthan — Restaurant in Orléans

Where to begin... this is the first time I’ve ever written a review. I’m not a very picky eater, but I feel I have to share my experience with this place, because it was the worst experience at a restaurant I’ve had in my life! After reading some reviews we wanted to give it a try. Even though we read the 1-star review written one month ago by another user, we thought: ‘maybe it was one bad experience, they’re still rated 4 stars, how bad can it be?’. The answer: very, very bad indeed! A summary of our experience: very bad food and very, very poor hygiene! It started with the garlic naan. Instead of naan with pieces of garlic we got naan with some sort of melted cream cheese on top of it (like the Boursin cheese). After that we got ‘samosas with vegetables’, which was samosas with mashed potatoes and a few peas and no spices at all. After that we had the saag paneer, chicken tikka massala and safran rice. I don’t know what they gave us, but it definitely wasn’t Paneer. It tasted like some sort of melted cream cheese again with some spinach (again like some sort of Boursin). Also the dish was very, very greasy. The tikka massala was some sort of curry, which is very unusual for this dish, and also tasted very bad and was very greasy. Now for the safran rice. There was definitely no safran in there, but some pieces of rice died bright red and green (?!) with food colouring.

On top of that we found multiple hairs in our food and there was black MOLD (!!!!!) on the rubber lid of the waterbottle. I’m so glad i discovered this before I drank the water.

After this experience it’s easy for me to say I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone!...

Avoid this restaurant! We ordered take out via Uber Eats when we stopped in Orléans. This was the worst Indian food I’ve ever had. I am not exaggerating.

The sheer degree of callousness it takes to turn out such atrocious food is mind boggling.

It saddens me to think that this is some people’s exposure to North Indian food.

A novice cook in any part of the world would manage to make better fare with the most basic ingredients and spices and any random recipe off the internet for...

Nous avons réservé 2 jours avant pour 4 personne On s est présenté pour manger ils ont oublier de noter notre réservation (c est pas pro ) ok je comprend je demande on peut manger quand même ? Oui je vous prépare une table 5min ok Les 5 min se sont transformé en 20 min ok je comprends débordé Enfin installé 45 min attente pour commander 😡 Ha! on commande l apero 🎉🎉🎉 Et à manger l apero arrive ou bout de 5 min cool Par contre pour la nourriture 😡🥵🥵 sur 4 personne une seul à eu sa commande elle a fini de manger nous on n à pas commencer cool 👍 Par contre les plat sont super bon rien à dire Arrive le dessert obligé de faire appel pour être servi 😡😡😡 On commande tous une salade de fruit qui devait être sublime à en croire la carte Une salade de fruit fade pas de jus pas de goût je prend une pomme et je la l'ange c est meilleure On a eu une très mauvaise expérience c est dommage je pense qu il y a une très mauvaise organisation entre les serveurs et les cuisinier c est dommage je n y reviendrai pas Par contre l addition c etais rapide 🤣🤣 Pour moi si ça commence mal il faut fuir ce restaurant vous allez être dégoûté de votre soirée je met 3 étoiles juste pour la cuisine le reste il faut changer les serveurs...
