As anticipated given the several positive reviews I have heard from friends, Big Fernand stands out as one of the more exciting venues in which one can grab a quick, albeit hearty dinner in Palaiseau. The restaurant’s concept struck my interest from the very get-go, with the incredibly friendly and whimsical waiter explaining to us the integrality of the menu and how BF distinguishes itself from its peers with its fresh, in-house ingredients and myriad burger options tailored to all kinds of customers. I personally opted for the staple Big Fernand burger and chose candied onions as an addon – it wasn’t nearly as heavy as I had anticipated it to be but was indeed as delicious as I had surmised. I am a regular at big fernand. although a bit pricier than a regular fast food, the price is definitely worth it. their burgers/fries/desserts are absolutely delicious and very enjoyable on a whole other level. the ingredients are fresh, are of quality. it is nice that you get a nice view of how your order is made, it’s nice seeing how much care and how much attention they put in the preparation. the staff is amazing, they are always very friendly and very welcoming. they are always very sociable and love to joke around and have small talk with customers. their team is absolutely wonderful. the atmosphere is really, the decoration, the whole place is always very clean and well taken care of, I love their restaurant’s vibe and aesthetic. overall, big fernand is a definite must, I definitely...

Une déception comme j'en ai jamais eu. La dernière fois que j'ai commandé, soit en 2023, la qualité était au rendez-vous, avec des produits savoureux. Aujourd'hui j'ai reçu une commande honteuse, à limite de l'insulte.
Le pain des sandwich était cru (j'ai bien dis cru ! Blanc blafard, mou et avec un goût de pate de pain) tandis que la sauce débordait de partout, avec une absence notoire du fromage.
Seules les gargandines ont su relever le défi, bien que je trouve dommage de ne plus donner la sauce à part dans un pot. Le mélange direct les rend plus molles le temps de la livraison.
Pour les tenders, première et dernière fois. Ils étaient de la taille de bâtonnets de poulet, trop cuit (certains à la limite noir) avec plus de chapelure que de viande. Je ne sais pas si c'est un défaut exceptionnel ou récurrent, mais on ne m'y reprendra plus.
En somme : Une qualité qui s'est fortement dégradée, après je n'en connais pas la raison. Un nouveau personnel peu formé ? Une vigilance éparpillée ? Etait-ce simplement une mauvaise commande de façon extraordinaire et j'en ai étais le malheureux récipient ?
En tout cas les 65Euros me restent en travers de la gorge attendu la qualité abominable. Espérons que c'était une simple erreur. J'essaierai probablement un autre restaurant franchisé pour comparer.
