ADN Montmartre — Restaurant in Paris

We were looking for a spot that’s healthy, affordable, and unique in MontMarte/ Sacré Coeur .. and we found it! 100% recommend this true “artists cafe” to young travelers on a budget: $13.90 lunch special includes choice of appetizer + large portion entree.

I LOVED the curry and my boyfriend loved the vegetarian burger… even though he’s typically a carnivore. The ingredients are super fresh&high quality and the menu changes to feature fruits and veggies that are in season.

The people working there are so welcoming and have a great vibe (especially the lovely lady with the purple eyeliner🥰) + the space is eclectic yet clean. We felt fueled up and ready to climb the steps of the Sacré Coeur...

Rude owner didn't care that there were "fake" tickets being sold on Resident Advisor for an "event" at his venue. When we arrived looking for the event, there was a private birthday party downstairs that he weirdly let us join. When we asked why we needed to purchase paid tickets if it was a private event, the owner rudely shouted that it's a lie and he knows nothing about it. Even if it was a fake event and he was scammed (which I highly doubt - he was probably trying to make quick cash), we as his customers were scammed too and he should have managed the reputation by offering us a cash-back or free drinks for the confusion. Fabulous experience at this gem of a restaurant at the base of the stairs down from the Basilica in Montmartre. We stopped here based on the Google reviews. We were a little skeptical of the high ratings, but they were right! Our server, Mael, was amazing! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened the kitchen for dinner, but he acted as our personal wine steward and had us taste several terrific wines. And our food, a fresh asparagus salad, vegetarian red curry and risotto were all well-prepared and delicious. Loved our desserts also (tiramisu, apple crumble). Highly recommend...
