Au Bon Coin — Restaurant in Paris

Went on a Sunday afternoon, the kitchen was closed so all they had were salads and Croque Monsieur. I was pleasantly surprised by the Croque Monsieur.. Service was generally good, if you're OK with a relaxed slow afternoon in Paris. Not exactly where you'd go for a celebration but good enough for a meal or drink. Went back later in the evening , around 8 pm, to see if I could get the sausage in white sauce (one of their specialities) but they...

We sat down outside. While other parties were being served, somehow we were completely neglected. Tried to get the waiters attention more than once when he was serving other customers. In vain... It was 2:05 pm. Was it that we spoke a foreign language? Maybe the waiter thought we we just occupying the seats to chat? We'll never know. We left after 20 minutes....

We visited on New Year's Eve for dinner. The ambience is authentic french which we enjoyed. Although outside of the city centre, it was closed to our hotel in the 15th Arr.
