Wow, I stumbled upon this gem by chance. It’s located in the beautiful Bastille neighborhood (definitely the most beautiful area), where more locals live. It’s so romantic with its lovely interior, gorgeous pastries, and even the coffee cups completely in style 😍
simply something to fall in love with. They have a wonderful, extensive menu with so many choices that it’s hard to decide. Luckily, on weekends they also offer a brunch where you can choose coffee/tea, juice, a sandwich, and a pastry. And if you can’t finish everything, you can just take it with you. The lady who served us was extremely friendly and managed quite well with her English. If you don’t happen to pass by
 look it up
 don’t miss it
it’s more than worth the detour.

Loved this all vegan cafe!!! I booked their afternoon tea time & loved every second of it! The cafe itself is the cutest I’ve ever seen!! They have the most beautiful cake display & adorable wallpaper & the most beautiful decor. The afternoon tea time was perfect because you get a little taste of all their goodies from mini sandwhiches to their desserts! It was lovely to sit in the cafe, relax & nibble on their treats! It was served on the most beautiful tier display & was almost TOO perfect to eat! For 30 euros it was SO worth it! It was plenty for a lunch & I couldn’t finish it all! The server was kind & even packed up my leftovers for me! Such a beautiful cafe & a MUST for vegans!

Jo and Nana are famous for their vegan patisserie and I have to say the place totally lives up to the hype. Last week I bought a pistachio Cruffin there and it was delicious! The pistachio Creme was rich and not too sweet and the dough of the Cruffin nice and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I work close to this place - I will need to make sure I won’t gain too much weight đŸ€Ł The place itself looks very cute and the service at the counter was very friendly helping me to choose between all the delicious things they offer. Definitely highly recommended, especially for vegans!

I was so excited to try this vegan tea shop in Paris! It had such a cute Bridgerton vibe and the menu looked amazing. However, my experience was very underwhelming.

The place is lovely but unfortunately, that’s about it. The staff was rude, dismissive and inattentive: we felt like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. I had to wait a long time to get my order taken, and even longer to get my food. Hire more staff or train the current staff to be more attentive to customers. 😞 The pastries were stale and tasted like they had been sitting out for hours, and the tea was lukewarm

To top it all off, and while I know it’s located in Paris, everything was very expensive. The prices were shockingly high. Especially considering the quality of the food and service. I felt like I was paying for the cute decor and the vintage vibe instead.

Unless you're simply looking for a pretty backdrop for your Instagram photos, I would avoid this place at all costs. There are numerous vegan restaurants and tea shops in the city that offer both delicious food and excellent service. And more reasonable prices!!!

Conclusion:

Jo and Nana Cakes is a prime example of style over substance. The charming décor and aura are nothing more than a façade that masks a disappointing culinary experience. Really not worth it. I would strongly discourage anyone from wasting...

Absolutely delectable and artful desserts. They aren’t just delicious, it’s obvious they’re made with a lot of skill, experience, and thought put in. Too often vegan desserts are good but not great, but here you really get an elevated experience, which was cool to get as a vegan in France where they’re known for expert desserts. For example the vanilla-raspberry layer cake had a ring of white chocolate(?) around each filling layer holding in the perfectly tart raspberry purĂ©e/filling that was a punch of flavor, balancing the sweet cake layers. Often vegan frosting is either too sugary or too margarine-y but this was light and fluffy and not too sweet or fatty. Easy to eat and complimentary to the cake.

We also had the Saint Honoré Caramel Passion fruit tart and the mini fraisier. Both were so so good. The one thing we thought could improve (in an otherwise perfect experience) was the passion tart could have used more passion fruit in it for more fruity zingy flavor to balance the sweet out.

We sat inside and thought it was lovely. We took the snickers tart to go for later and it was unsurprisingly amazing too, with a crispy chocolate crust, and a perfect balance of cream, caramel and peanut.

We’re so happy we were in the area and looked at the Happy Cow app after walking the Promenade PlantĂ©e and stopped by on our last...
