Most despising and disrespectful situation I have experienced in a restaurant.
This is where you see that being a pseudo Libanese restaurant ( they also offer couscous, very remotely Lebanese), can be very scornful towards customers based on their origin, I leave this to the female owner's therapist to discuss.
The facts: I invited my wife and son to Beit Jedo to try the restaurant, the waiter had apparently received instructions to priviledge a certain type of customers ( needless to say we were not that type) we arrived at a nearly empty restaurant and politely waited for the service, one call, two calls, no response... After noticing that he waited tables of people who arrived after us, we finally decided to hail him , we ordered two Jedo plates and a Jedo burger... You can guess our frustration seeing the customers who arrived after us being served and even finishing eating while no sign of our order.
We requested to talk to the manager but she failed to show up so we took our things and walked off. On our way out, I tried to speak to the manager and all we received was more scornful and unpleasant remarks...zero apologies or regrets, not what we expect from a "hype and ethnic" restaurant...a disgrace!
I apologised to my wife and especially to my young son who discovered a practical case of intolerance coming from people who looked like him with a huge complex of inferiority.
If they are not ra##%t, they are undoubtedly unpleasant and unprofessional.
Sorry, I can't talk about the food, we couldn't have any!
They made a family very sad. "Shame on you if you...
Read moreThis place is an amazing sanctuary for people looking for homemade Lebanese food prepared the same way as moms do. I was thrilled by the cozy ambience this small restaurant could provide which in return was complemented by the azing food and proper service. We were a party of 6 friends, some of us had the mezze promotion they have running and the food was just spot on; some went for their daily special which some days seemed to be international with a Lebanese twist. In a summary, for the money we paid against the tasty food, amicable service, value for money, and the great hospitality, this place is definitely one ofy favorite in Paris and you will see us again soon! Special thanks to the ladies running this restaurant:...
