Amazing little place off the beaten track in the 19ème, right by the Quartier Mouzaïa. It's family-run, and it's not a place to go if you're in a hurry. There are lots of regulars, and the atmosphere is convivial and bustling. My guacamole entrée was absolutely perfect (and I'm from California). My plat of the souris d'agneau was heavenly - maybe a bit much for the heat of the day, but oh, dear lord, it was grandma's recipe and a dish for the angels! I finished with a déca noisette, and leisurely got up to pay. The mother/daughter team were kind enough to praise my French language abilities, and I just felt like I'd discovered pirate's treasure. I'm not sure if they take reservations, so either be there at noon or after 13h30 to avoid the rush. Let me assure you, this is the real deal, a very authentic dining experience most people don't get to experience. I will most definitely return the next time...
