Worst coffee ever….and over priced !!!!

Lived in Paris for 10yrs yes it is difficult to find a good coffee here.

Ordered 2 cappuccinos. Mud in cup with some kind of bubbles on top. Had 1 sip and was left the rest. Asked the waitress what it was. She said what was wrong?? I explained and then she asked for 10€ payment. Then knocked it down to 8€ thanks for a horrible taste in my mouth. If she had not charged me…considering I had left practically 2 full cups of slushy mud… I would not have felt obliged to waste my time writing a review.

A charming little restaurant offering superb service and wonderful food. I arrived a little late in the evening but was welcomed warmly by the staff - so lovely when you are dining alone - and the chef even put together a little plate of delicious vegetables especially for me to accompany my meal. I was so grateful. The apple tart is a highlight and the white wine I was served was such a great complement to the meal. And besides, it was excellent...

If you’re visiting the Parc des Buttes Chaumont on a day when the park’s restaurants are closed, Chez Meme is a great option nearby for lunch or dinner. It’s a neighborhood place as you can tell by the number of diners who know the staff and vice versa. Good traditional dishes, well prepared, on site.
