Went here for a quick dinner and left quiet disappointed. I’m gonna edit my initial comment because I had a reply from the owner of restaurant with an incredibly sarcastic and rude tone, explaining to me my unrealistic comments and making fun of how “I’m such a true gourmand” To be more clear: I understand the salmon roll (tonkatzu) is a deep fried salmon roll, however you can find ways to make it less disgustingly oily. Instead of replying in such a mean sarcastic way, why not think on how you can make the roll less oily. The fresh fish tartare had many ingredients which made it very hard to enjoy. I simply tried to pick out the fish and left the rest. Of course I know the ingredients I ordered with the tartare, since this was another part where the owner sarcastically chose to not understand my comment, because their food is so perfect to their eyes. I’m saying that the size of the other ingredients was too big and covered the flavor of the fish, so i was suggesting to resize them slightly smaller so the plate is more balanced.
The service was good and fast but that’s probably because it wasn’t very busy and they had just opened.
I do not suggest this restaurant. Owners apparently also have a rude sarcasm when replying to negative comments. So make sure if you go to leave a 5 star to...
Read moreThis restaurant was lovely and the food was delicious. It recently opened, and the two owners are exceptionally sweet, jovial, and attentive to the patrons. The restaurant was full, with great energy and nice decor. We ordered the sea bass with hollandaise and basmati rice, the truffle ravioli, and warm Camembert drizzled with honey and served with sliced baguette. All were fantastic. The rose and champagne were quite nice. We were greeted and accommodated right away, and we dined leisurely. There was a large birthday party at the table next to us, and the staff sang to the birthday girl. I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely...
Read moreThe place is nice, but they do not warn you at all about the happy hour rules. They have a written board outside saying the blond beer is the only one in happy hour price, but if you are coming from the side of the street, you cannot see this board and you seat at the table without anything else than the menu where you see all the draft beers under the happy hour. No one told us during the service at the table that the beer we picked from the menu was not on happy hour price, even when we mentioned the happy hour time. That is not a nice surprise to pay the full price at the end...
