Chez Nelly — Restaurant in Paris

Basic Chinese takeaway. Not particularly good - I don't understand the 4.7* Google review as of 04/2019. Not cooked fresh to order, but ready to serve in a display case. Definitely Chinese, not Thai like Google incorrectly indicated. Few vegetarian options.

Plus: Open non-stop all day, unlike normal restaurants in Paris. Nelly and the other employee are very nice. Convenient for take away to reheat at home.

Minus: All pre-made food, they reheated it in the microwave. Limited choice. No toilet. Food was not particularly good. Expensive like a sit down restaurant, especially considering lunch set menu prices elsewhere. I paid €11 for not great basil chicken, rice, and vegetables...

Amazing find ! I can tell you that I have honestly passed this restaurant maybe 100 times. However today was the day. I decided to finally go in and boy am i glad i did 👍.

The Husband wife team that own this place have some amazingly good thai dishes.

With a great beer selection and excellent cuisine, they really are the neighbourhood local Thai Restaurant.

Also I found them to be very reasonable. My wife and me had a feast !

Definitely will be back soon, great food, amazing service, and very welcoming staff.

Do not pass this place up if you are in the neighborhood !

Also get there just before 12 on a weekday as the que is long so as to be...

I love this place and I’m so happy I tried it out. I’ve been passing by many times as I live in that area and decided to try it out - I have not been disappointed. The service is amazing and the food is delicious. Madame Nelly is an absolute Angel, who is so friendly and welcoming. Her husband is in the kitchen and does amazing work as well. I can recommend...
