Chez Wang — Restaurant in Paris

Came here for a late lunch on a jours férié. Small tight space but cozy. Food took a long time to come but this was communicated; there was a big table in front of us and at the time only one chef to cook everything fresh. We ordered 2 small and 1 large dish for two and it was more than enough.

We played games to entertain ourselves while we waited and it was worth it, the food was delicious, not as spicy as one might want it but perfect for me :) We were offered a small discount for the long wait but it wasn’t necessary, the food made up for it.

I was told that asian food in France was awful. For the most part that has been my experience. Today I tried Chez Wang and were pleasantly surprised to find very good Chinese food. The beef noodle soup was excellent. Shrimp fried rice was perfect. The veggie wok stir fry was a little too salty and had too much chili oil. Overall I was very satisfied with Chez Wang's food. It was nice to get decent asian food...

I know we're supposed to support our local businesses during pandemics but come on. First time tried and miserably failed. Check the plate on pics just full of oignons ans chilli. All flavours are very samy. It's last time we order here and this is not to the standard of recent last year's opening talent we see in Paris. Time to revamp and get some heavy Chinese Cooking...
