Enjoyed a scrumptious lunch menu with my godson at his chosen local gem in Paris 17e 😋 At only 17 years old, he already knows the best spots! - Country bread bruschetta / Stracciatella / Smoked Sardines / Hazelnut / Combava (a type of citrus fruit) - Iberico Rack of Pork / Green beans / Colonnata lard / Cherries / Meatjuice - Grilled Trout / multicolored cauliflower - Deconstructed Black Forest dessert with cherry sorbet Lunch menu includes daily main dish and dessert and costs 32 euro. They seem to adore cornflowers at that restaurant! Chef: it’s a bit repetitive.

This restaurant is a hidden gem with a cosy, inviting atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff. The black mullet raw fish plate was a fresh and vibrant starter, and the main courses of scallops and duck were cooked to perfection - rich, tender, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is the perfect balance between relaxed and cozy, with great attention to cleanliness and detail. While slightly on the pricier side, the exceptional food, service, and overall experience make it well worth it. Highly recommended for a special occasion or a delightful treat!

Amazing place for food. They know what their business. One of us was vegetarian and we told the waiter. They made ver nice three course veg meal for our friend that surprisingly was equally good or better than the non vegetarian food that we had. The best part was these veg food courses were not in the menu. Located in a busy place, which makes it easily accessible and identifiable. Price wise expensive but the quality of ingredients and the flavours burst in our mouth will make sure no regrets.

Summary: Recommended to try if staying close by, but be sure to book for an earlier seating as staff interest in service disappeared at the end of the night.

Coretta was recommended to us by our Parisian host as an excellent option for a birthday dinner for two in the 17th. Reservation was for Sunday at 9pm. Warm welcome in French or English when we arrived a little early. Chose to sit outside. Very attentive and courteous service for the three course meal- possibly a bit rushed. Food was excellent - elegantly presented, fresh, buttery, effortless. Veal, lamb, rhubarb all a delight. Amuse to start and sorbet to finish were a nice touch. Accompanied by an excellent bottle of white Bordeaux.

Service waned at the main when a glass of red ordered to pair with the lamb did not appear. At the final prompt clearing of plates we are asked if we would like coffee after we finished our wine, but the offer never appeared again. Despite numerous walk pasts of staff I was left to go inside to settle up at the bar - and remove the no-show red wine from the bill.

We were some of the last clients at the end of the night but it wouldn’t have taken much more to send us out really happy! 5/5 for food but the bad taste of tired service lingers. Did not seem like additional smoke breaks by staff (including our wait staff) out front the restaurant helped much!

Would consider returning on our next visit to Paris, but will look carefully at the...

Most dramatic and worst experience I ever had in any restaurant around the globe. The service was not only a disgrace, but more importantly, there was no respect from the rude waiters. On top of rude waiters there was a serious scarcity in the kitchen of this restaurant. We got so little butter with the bread for 5 people that we asked some extra. The reply we got was that there would not be enough for other guests and that we had to eat dry bread instead. When asked for some olive oil to accompany the bread, the oil was literally thrown and smashed at our table by the waiter. Honestly, both the owner and waiters of this restaurant have some issues, because there is no other way of understanding why you would treat your guests like this. We were with a party of 5 and everyone felt so unwelcome that we decided to go elsewhere. I would recommend anyone to do the same. Not even was the service crappy, the restaurant was amazingly sterile and uncosy and very “unparisian”. Paris has so many amazing restaurants with an amazing vibe and ambiance, be cautious to not make the same mistake as our party did. As a last note, but before posting this review I reached out to the owner about our experiences - three weeks ago - and unsurprisingly never...
