The food was actually excellent(!), but the service was extremely disappointing (I would otherwise NEVER leave a [negative] comment about a restaurant!):
No notification after booking, that no "normal" tables were available and that we would have to eat at the bar as a group of two persons (when eating/speaking, you have to constantly turn your head, which leaves you with neck pain afterwards, and eating on high bar stools is very uncomfortable – especially when it comes to fine dining).
The menu had changed on this day, but had not been updated on the website, which meant that no vegan option was available (we had based our restaurant choice on the menu provided online). When I pointed out that i eat vegan not because of an intolerance but because i chose not to eat animal products (without being ideological, if it takes too much effort for the kitchen, I am very happy to compromise), the service staff did not understand and responded rudely.
Water ordered and forgotten; the food arrived before the drink as well as a ordered second glass of wine (even though the restaurant was not completely full).
Very warm and humid in the restaurant.
No apology when paying; only after pointing out that the service was very disappointing did they say, ‘We're sorry, we'll try to improve.’ No compensation (e.g. free espresso or similar).
Both waiters seemed extremely apathetic/absent/agitated and stressed – we had the impression that something had gone wrong that day that had not been communicated...
Eunoé is an absolute gem in Paris! The fusion of French and Japanese flavors is executed to perfection, with every dish showcasing incredible creativity and balance. The ingredients are fresh, the presentation is stunning, and the flavors are unforgettable. The knife-cut beef tartare in a flower-adorned cone was both delicious and playful.
The atmosphere is modern yet warm, making it perfect for both special occasions and casual fine dining. The service was top-notch—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food. The wine selection complemented the dishes beautifully, adding to an already exceptional experience.
If you’re in Paris and looking for an innovative yet refined dining experience, Eunoé is a must-visit....
Read moreI don’t even know how to start talking about this amazing restaurant! Eunoé opened last year and after the first bite it became my favorite restaurant. I love the concept “good food” - all dishes are conceived by the chef and executed with great technique; “great prices” - for the level of the ingredients, plating and taste associations; “great wines” - wines are really picked up to go with every dish; “the owners” - they love what they do and you feel it when you cross the door. The only way to get ahead with this business is by loving it. From my last and fourth visit I just can state that the cress sabayon was to die for, the persimmon’s dessert was a perfect combination of flavors and textures and the meat dish was just...
