The Beans on Fire — Restaurant in Paris

We had the opportunity to make a Coffee degustation with Andres! (He’s colombian, soo he knows!) and we just love it!

We have learned from him, the variety of coffee beans, the differents process the beans pass through, some vocabulary to talk about coffee and curiosities about this industry.

During the degustation, we tried the coffee with a specific preparation, but Andres offers us a machine coffee just before and after “the class”. The super extra! We got a jar of our favorite coffee as a gift!

Across the street from a lovely park is The Beans on Fire! Despite the construction across the street, the ambiance was peaceful and you could tell how well loved this shop is. By 8:25 am it’s filled with friendly families and neighbors! A wonderful way to start your day.

I ordered a cappuccino and a feta roll! The feta roll was surprisingly sweet. Would recommend! And the coffee was standard. You order at the till and the barista makes it right away. And yes they speak English.

This coffee shop is located in between a local children’s park and a fairly busy street, but faces an empty and secluded street. You get the noise of children and cars on both sides of you but not in front of you. This makes for a pleasant spot without the wind and dust from the road, and with the happy screams of children and birds. The cappuccino is good. The foam is light and airy like a meringue, the milk is buttery, and the coffee is not sour or bitter or overpowering the milk.
