You’d wonder how a place could have so many five stars and whether it’s legit. But you know that this place is genuine as soon as you walk through the door. The unassuming deco and almost retro chic from perhaps previously a bar, with tacky high chairs (in a good way), beautifully selected wines displayed on the wall, dry flowers and blackboards with today’s specials. Here, the service is really the knowledge and care the staff exhibits in the delivery from the start to the end, being able to explain the menu both in French and English is super helpful, but the level of knowledge shared about the dishes in a very subtle, unassuming way, much like the decor, creates really warm, inviting and cozy feel much like being at someone’s dinner table. Now the food, what can I say? It was utter sensations throughout, dishes like veal carpaccios, gnocchi (which we had to order twice as was just incredible), steak tartare were out of this world - the cooking is done to bring out the best in ingredients whilst creating sometimes simple yet complex flavours. Gnocchi should get its own restaurant. We had the last chocolate mouse and after all the dishes we had (among 3 and we were absolutely stuffed), it was still the dessert that was worth making space for. We understand that the dishes change all the time and blackboard so do go there open minded and embrace the amazing choices they will give you as I’m sure they will all be cooked to perfection. This place was by far the best discovery of our trip and if you are visiting or living in Paris, this must make the list of the places to eat at, out of all the places you can even if it is out of your way. This is a restaurant that should be celebrated and I’m giving the easiest 5 starts for...

I’m almost afraid to rate this amazing little nook of delicacies… First and best meal I ate in Paris. Enjoyed a lunch of mushroom “meatballs”, cauliflower steak & the most divine slice of Brie cheese… Will definitely return!!! I was there on the a weekday & the day of the national strike so it was rather quiet but I’d imagine reservations are a must for dinner or any...

Excellent evening at Gibon. I came jn with my wife and sat at the bar. Overall the food was excellent. The oysters were bright and fresh, the smoked fish appetizer was smooth, creamy, and well balanced. The lamb was tender and cooked perfectly. Small menu of well done aperitif and digestif options and an excellent...

The type of Parisian restaurant I had been looking for! Fresh and seasonal ingredients, constantly updated menu, perfectly executed dishes, and honest pricing—especially convenient for lunch! We enjoyed every bit of our meal and enjoyed the best long levitation bread in all of Paris! A delightful experience not to be missed!
