Ha Long Baie — Restaurant in Paris

This is a authentic Vietnamese spot. I had the Pho and it was delicious. It can come off as too salty at first but you need to understand they are catering for westerners / Europeans who like their salt. Even with that it was amazing they have a generous amount of fresh veggies and fresh lime which is expensive in France. And they used quality beef and you could taste it in the broth. They even gave me fresh birds eye chili (spicy chili)

The traditional dessert was perfect for a little Asian sweetness at the end.

Very kind people work here as well. I’m happy to have made it here on my last day in Paris.

I highly recommend them even if you just come for the smiles on their faces. Lovely couple and good food!

Delicious homemade food that feels like being cooked by your own aunt. This restaurant is small, with only about 5 table inside but with a very warm service. You can even see how the dishes are prepared on their small kitchen next to the tables

The nem spring roll is the chunkiest, densest spring roll (in a good way) that I've had in my life --which is mostly in Southeast Asia. The bo bun may look plain but it is filled with complex yet subtle flavour. The broken rice (?) fried rice is also...

Came here based on the reviews and it’s amazing! I had spring rolls (picture) and tamarind soup or Canh chua and both dishes were very tasty. As someone who has been in Vietnam this place reminded me of the food you can find over there. Almost forgot to say that the staff (I think they are a couple ) is super friendly. I don’t speak a word of French but that was not a problem. Defo coming back...
