WORST PLACE IN PARIS!!!! Me and my friends were looking for a chilled place for couple of drinks after an amazing day of exploring Paris..... well this place was the worst choice we could have made.... When we sat down we asked for a drinks menu, however we were told there isn't one. I've worked in bars before, so I know there is always a price list with all the drinks somewhere on/next to the bar and I took a picture of it (attached below) so we can all choose what we are going to have. One of my friend ordered Malibu fresh, however she had stomach aches all night (who knows how old the bottle was considering the bartender couldn't even figure out what she was asking for or where the bottle was, so she had to go to the bar and point him the bottle ....) Once we finished with the drinks (only 1 round of drinks) we went to pay. None of the drinks were put on the till and they didn't print out our bill. They just calculated it in their heads and told us we need to pay 39 euros... which was way too much... I've pointed to the bartender on the menu calculating everything in front of him - 3 dark rums and pineapple juice + 1 malibu and coke, all of which should have costed 29,50 euros, so where is the additional 10,50 euros coming from???? His response was that the prices on that menu are daytime prices... the night time prices are higher and it is mentioned in the menu..... NO IT WASN'T..... he kept on insisting us to pay 39euros. He also told us that 4 drinks wouldusuallycost us over 70 eurosanywhere in Paris so this was actuallythe cheapestplace for drink...NO IT WASN'T..... anywhere we went we had drinks for between 5 and 15 euros (depending on the drink) If we weren't all exhausted from the long day of walking I would have called the police, but everyone was really tired and wanted to go home... IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR GREAT EXPERIENCE OF VISITING PARIS TO BE RUINED DONT GO THERE!!!! Please don't let this review put you off from visiting Paris as we've had great time and no issues in any of the other bars and restaurants we visited. Everywhere else the staff was really nice and friendly and ensured our amazing experience continued.

THIS PLACE SCAMS TOURISTS!!!

If you are not a local, avoid this place at all costs. It's enough to ruin your holiday!

The bartender takes full advantage of you being a tourist and makes up prices when you go to pay at the end, prices that have nothing to do with the prices listed on the poster right next to the bar.

If we spoke French, we would've definitely refused to pay and...

I dont understand these retro places with old noble looking owners-bartenders.

All the same: good atmosphere, old furniture, and cheap beer in plastic cup for 6eur

Ok, I assume this os an extra for « unique true Parisian vibe ». But at least put some effort and find better beer supplier

Or buy more pinte glasses. Real one, made from glass

I mean, at least make any...
