We absolutely loved our experience here! From start to finish, everything was wonderful. The chicken and steak were cooked to perfection, and the food was so delicious that we finished every bit of it. Even though we were already full, we couldn’t resist ordering dessert — and we’re so glad we did! The service was exceptional. Our server tried very hard to explain the menu to us in English, and despite us speaking very little French, we felt warmly welcomed throughout. The staff are clearly passionate about what they do, and that warmth really adds to the dining experience. We wanted to return during our stay in Paris, but sadly it was our last day. We’ll definitely come back the next time we visit Paris! C'est tres bon !!

Read some great reviews for this place so thought we’d try it out. Service was basically non-existent, and when we finally we did receive our menus we felt pressured into ordering instantly as the owner/manager stood next to the table. We ordered the duck parmentier and the poulette burger. Parmentier had evidently been pre-prepared and microwaved as half of the bowl was extremely hot and the other half was cold. No side salad was served with it either, despite being on the menu. Likewise, the burger had evidently been pre-prepared and reheated. Swapped dishes mid-meal and both of us ended up feeling ill during the night after spending €70 for the privilege. Not great.

Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! The dishes were well-prepared and full of flavor. The service was excellent – the waiters were friendly, fast, and always with a smile. The pepper sauce was incredible, so good that I ordered a second one just to dip the fresh bread they served us. To top it all off, they treated us to a complimentary drink at the end. An outstanding experience that I’ll definitely repeat!

We ate here last evening and had an amazing evening. We arrived at 6:30 p.m.-early for Paris standards and we were warmly welcomed. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The menu is on an iPad which can be translated into numerous languages in addition to the typical blackboards with menus and specials. I was actually complimented when the staff thought I was French. I wish! My French is not THAT good. It was a nice leisurely paced meal and we never felt rushed; nor did we have to hunt someone down for service. The food was awesome! Some of us started with the baked brie and salad, another had the pumpkin soup with blue cheese morsels. Then 3 of us had the chicken casserole (which comes with a green salad) and one of us had the fish of the day which was sea bass. Food was done perfectly and it came to the table hot! For dessert, a couple of us had chocolate mousse and another had the lemon ginger tart. Again, they were fantastic. They have a great little wine list. This was by far one of the best restaurants that we ate in this trip and we ate in many of them. The staff, the atmosphere, the lack of smoke in the air (we Californians can be picky about that), and above all-the food made this a most enjoyable experience. The bonus for us was that it was right across the street from the apartment that we are staying at, but even if you are not staying in this neighborhood, check it out. I don't think you will be disappointed. We are planning on eating there one more time before we leave Paris on...

We checked the website for the menu as we had a party member with limited food preferences. We liked they had poultry dishes and house made couscous. We booked a reservation but it was never acknowledged. We went anyway only to find out it was karaoke night. Dinner options were limited to only three plats on a hand written menu -- none of which were chicken (bizarre given the restaurants name) and no couscous. Salad options were meager and very bland. The pate en croute was extremely thin. Mixed grille brouchete with pepper corn sauce was cooked well but the peppercorn sauce was not at all peppery. Salmon in morel sauce was cooked well but morel sauce did not taste anything like a morel sauce. Continuing the theme desserts were not very good. Service was very polite but very slowwww... 45 minutes to get our desserts. We would...

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend a few days ago. Everything from the food to the service was fantastic. Decor and ambiance was also very nice - loved eating by candle light. Being from New York, our french was limited and we were prepared to do a lot of Google translating of the menu, however to our surprise, the server presented us with tablets with the menu automatically translated in english along with photos of each of the dishes which really helped with ordering. I ended up getting the burrata appetizer, roasted chicken entree, and the creme brulee for dessert. My boyfriend got the egg casserole, chicken burger, and apple cake. All was exceptionally delicious. Thank you to the two young men servers for their impeccable service and kindness. When we are back in Paris, we will make sure to revisit La...
