Le Comptoir Parisien — Restaurant in Paris

Cannot express my admiration for this excellent restaurant. Sam and his team created a delicious and authentic dinner for a very large group of hungry Australian students for their final night of a two week tour. It was the best food we ever ate on the tour. Everything was made in house, with attention to detail and generous serves, they gave us a chance to eat something authentic particularly the delicious Basque Chicken and Apple house tart. Nothing was too difficult for this team, from organising menus and tabs for student tables to allowing students to make individual payments at the end of the evening. I felt like I had truly been to Paris that night. Friendly atmosphere, smiling faces and a true welcome to travellers....

It’s now named Comptoir Parisien, avoid this place all cost!! Food was absolutely terrible!! I Order a steak, medium done and it come raw. Asked them to put back on grill it came back overdone and like shoe leather. The chips that came with was probably cooked one week before!! Don’t bother with this place. This restaurant is amazing the service is amazing the food is amazing, the server was extremely welcoming and nice, and one day one of the girls of my group forgot her wallet there, and on the next day, the server saw us wslking down the street and remembered us, and gave it back to her.
