Le Janissaire — Restaurant in Paris

I went to a Turkish restaurant in France as this was a recommendation and this was one of a few times the recommendations was actually very good.

The restaurant was decent and warm and the servers could be much better but it was good. The whole menu was in French so thankfully I had camera translate to translate the menu and I read over a lot of things and I don't know what the name of this dish is per say but it was good.

It was a very meaty pie and it tasted amazing. I but into it and everything just felt like it was melting in my mouth and the sauce over it was fantastic and sweet and not the bad over sugary sweet but a very good balance that you can't eat one thing without the other and creates harmony on the plate.

It was just so good and would recommend anyone to go there. You will most likely not be disappointed and I really mean that, though if you're not French or do not speak French then I highly recommend downloading an app which let's you translate food menus, it's a necessity.

Very friendly service! From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and treated with genuine hospitality. The staff was attentive without being intrusive and happy to explain the menu and make recommendations.

Have been there many many times when I was still living in Paris. This restaurant is definitely the best Turkish Restaurant. The owner and staff are really welcoming and serious. I am sure they will recognise me when I’ll come again as my family continues to go there. Food is excellent, 👌🏼 you can go there your eyes closed (les yeux fermés) that’s so so so good that whenever someone ask me for a good halal restaurant in paris i always talk about Le Janissaire in First.
