LE MAHARAJA — Restaurant in Paris

I happened upon the Le Maharaja Indian restaurant by accident today as I was strolling around the Parc Montsouris neighborhood in Montparnasse, and I'm so glad I did, it was a truly wonderful experience ❤️.

I had the express lunch with chicken, everything was very yummy 😋:

The Naan was baked just right, and was included in the lunch 👍. The sauce was very good, nice and thick with lots of taste (and not "tomatoey" at all, as is often the case, when the sauce just tastes like tomatoes and nothing else). The chicken melted in your mouth, was plentiful, and was also very tasty, and the rice was nice and fluffy 👍.

On top of that, the service was excellent and super friendly! 🥰

Oh, and the price: Unbeatable 👍👍👍

I can definitely highly recommend this restaurant in every way👍.

I will be back for sure next time I'm in town!...

J'ai quitté ce restaurant profondément déçue par le traitement qui m'a été réservé pendant le (très long) temps d'attente et surtout au moment de l'addition. Le serveur semblait confus et incapable de diviser le total en trois et d'appliquer la réduction de 10% prévue pour les commandes à emporter (dont il nous avait lui-même informé). 4 fois je lui ai dit que la réduction manquait sur mon reçu et 4 fois il me l'a rendu à l'identique avec arrogance, en prétendant le règlement complet sans raison apparente. Finalement, j'ai renoncé à me disputer avec un serveur qui ne connaît ni les bonnes manières ni les mathématiques, et j'ai gaspillé mon argent dans un poulet korma qui valait la moitié de son prix. Le rapport viande/sauce curry était ridicule et ne justifiait pas les 11,50€ (strictement sans réduction) qu'on lui a attribués, sans parler des amandes qui étaient pratiquement inexistantes; le naan au fromage (3,50 €) était décent, mais pas au point de me persuader à donner une seconde chance à...
