Menekse — Restaurant in Paris

We (party of 3) went to Menekse on Sunday for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious (Hummus, incredibly fresh and soft bread, a full mezze platter [everything on there was delicious albeit the quantity was a bit dissapointing, a spoon of everything], Adana kebab, Balican Û Mast served with bulgar and Kurdish tea to finish off the meal). I have wanted to visit the restaurant for several years, but kept forgetting about it since it is hidden down a lovely passage. Now that I've been once, I will return repeatedly. Everything was excellent, but the Imam Bayildi was truly prepared to perfection. I can't wait to return for another favourite, Hünkar begendi. So glad to have found this...

Il a quelques années maintenant avec un ami nous savions pas où manger à Paris, nous vagabondions dans les rues sans idées précises sur notre repas. Puis, nous sommes arrivés chanceux chez Menekse. Dans nos souvenirs, il s'agit d'un petit restaurant, à l'allure boisée avec des lumières aux vitraux colorés suspendues au plafond. La lumière des ampoules bascule vers le jaune. Le tout est très chaleureux et intimiste on s'y sent bien . Les plats étaient vraiment super bon, c'etait dans une intention de faire découvrir une cuisine de famille, une cuisine traditionnelle. Nous nous rappelons encore de ce moment passé chez vous et nous continuons d'en parler quand nous nous voyons.
