Bad service. You can find tasty and cheaper burgers elsewhere. Coming to PNY is not just buying a burger it is paying for the service as well. The manager lied to us and in front of us on other people. We were waiting in line to go inside-that’s normal at PNY- after 20min we asked the waitress if possible to start eating outside and once a table inside is available we will move indoor (it was so cold), she said yes of course. And then when we made our order she came back to us saying that the manager refused to have us inside once order is initiated outside. We said fine we don’t want you to proceed with our order, we will keep waiting. And then few minutes later, the manager came with our burgers, we were shocked and told him that we asked to halt the order until we are inside. He replied « than I will take your burgers to the kitchen and keep you waiting until a table is ready ». No one would like to eat a cold burger, so we told him it is ok we will eat outside, in all cases you will finish eating before having a free table. We ordered 3 times to have BBQ sauce with our fries until the manager told us that he cannot keep up with everything at the restaurant. Another story, a delivery man came to collect an order, the manager told him « sorry your order was stolen there’s nothing we can do. » knowing that bags are handed to delivery men hand in hand and no way someone would steal an order not for them. Secondly, if you are a good manager and someone stole an order you go and prepare another one for a client who made the order and waiting hungry. Paris New York focuses on high quality burgers and serves some of the best in Europe for Parisians on a daily basis. The adventure to get to Paris New York is a little off the beaten path, but if your quest is for the best burger in Paris it's worth the trip. Update: These burgers have proven so successful that PNY recently has opened a second location that gives burger seekers a second option.

At Paris New York I ordered the Return of the Cowboy. The bun is brioche and was one of the most pillowy and bite perfect buns I've had in all my travels. The bacon was amazing, and the flavor and grind of the beef has a perfect texture and flavor. The onions did an alright job of complementing the package to make this a "Cowboy", however they could be a little crispier... or removed. This burger is a truly unique flavor experience that you won't find at most burger joints. The best comparison for this burger would be to consider it to be similar to a cheddar melt. A melt in your mouth bun, cheddar cheese, rich bacon, BBQ sauce, and juicy beef make for a burger that is warming and hearty.

The only thing holding this burger from being "best in the world" quality would be that the BBQ sauce could have more of a vinegary/acidic flavor, and that the onions need to be perfected or removed. We went there for dinner with my boyfriend after reading amazingly great reviews of the place! The place was nice and packed with people, the staff were friendly we each had a burger and shared fries and a beer. It all seemed very good until we got back to the hotel. Within the hour i was throwing up on the toilet and had a terrible stomach ache, within the next two hours i was throwing up in combination with running to the toilet. I have a sensitive stomach so i figured the food bothered me, but in the middle of the night a good five hours after we had eaten my boyfriend was also running to the toilet. By 6 am i couldn't stand up, i was burning up with fever and had a flight to catch so my boyfriend carried me and our bags to the airport. As soon as i arrived home I went to the doctor who confirmed we both had food poisoning! I have not yet recovered, today is day three and i am still on the toilet despite taking medication.
